UCT is looking for a talented Driver II to join us in Fremont, CA!The Driver II is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of materials between buildings and locations within the Fremont campus, with occasional offsite deliveries as needed. This role primarily operates company vehicles to support internal logistics and production flow, while also assisting with basic material handling and inventory activities. Success in this position requires strong attention to safety, time management, and communication, along with the ability to support warehouse operations when not actively driving.Work ScheduleSwing Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PMInitial training on Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) for several weeksDuties And ResponsibilitiesSafely operate company vehicles to transport materials between onsite Fremont facilitiesPerform occasional offsite deliveries in accordance with company policies and driving standardsLoad, secure, transport, and unload materials to ensure safe handling and prevent damageFollow established delivery routes, schedules, and documentation proceduresConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptlyMaintain compliance with all traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety guidelinesAssist with material handling tasks including receiving, staging, picking, and delivery preparationSupport inventory accuracy by completing basic ERP transactions and documentation as neededPrepare and verify shipping paperwork such as bills of lading and delivery logsCommunicate effectively with warehouse, production, and logistics teams regarding delivery status and prioritiesOperate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safelyMaintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with 5S standardsKnowledge, Skills, And Experience2+ years of driving experience in a professional or job-related settingValid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standardsExperience operating delivery vehicles (box trucks, vans, or similar) preferredBasic material handling or warehouse experience preferredAbility to follow routes, schedules, and delivery instructions with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to lift, move, and transport materials as requiredBasic computer skills; ERP or inventory system experience a plusGood communication skills and ability to coordinate across teamsEducation, Certifications, RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAbility to meet company Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirementsForklift certification (or ability to obtain) preferredAbility to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and repetitive movement2–4-year experience related to the use of computer and ERP systems bar-coded software is highly desired.2-4 years' experience in any type of material distribution environment is desired.Ultra Clean Technology is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including variable pay and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO (Paid Time Off) and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
