REMOTE Secret Data Engineer
Job DescriptionDay-To-Day:An employer is looking for a Secret Data Engineer to sit remotely. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend data pipelines that support an organizations dashboards and reporting initiatives. The individual will ingest, clean, and process large-scale datasets related to military and defense sales, while developing and optimizing SQL queries and Python scripts to support KPI reporting and analytics. Working in a collaborative Agile environment, this role partners closely with Data Analysts, Frontend Engineers, Scrum Masters, testers, and usability teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions. The position involves active participation in PI Planning, sprint ceremonies, and team status updates, as well as direct engagement with government stakeholders to gather requirements and provide program updates. The role supports a cross-functional team of 10–15 members, including multiple data engineers at varying levels, and contributes to continuous improvements in data quality, performance, and usability. Support for classified work is required based on program needs.Compensation:$95 to $125 per year annual salary.
