Proposal SpecialistFull-time | Hybrid | Baltimore, MDI'm hiring a highly skilled, detail oriented marketing professional to support an award-winning engineering consultancy in Baltimore, MD!The role will focus on collaborating with the wider MEP leadership team, and coordinating the execution of all marketing and business development initiatives.Your key responsibilities will include developing sales and marketing materials associates with AEC project pursuits including:Qualifications packagesRFP responsesInterview presentationsDeveloping project information pages for website useCoordinating eventsCreating advertisingOverseeing project photography Responsibilities:Drive strategic marketing and business development initiatives in partnership with leadershipLead proposal and pursuit efforts, including strategy, teaming, and client presentationsConduct client debriefs to strengthen future marketing and business development outcomesIdentify and secure teaming opportunities with Market Sector leadersTrain technical staff in proposal writing and presentationsManage marketing resources, including content, opportunity tracking, and the Deltek databaseOversee branding, marketing materials, and social media presenceRepresent the firm in industry and community organizations to build relationshipsPlan and execute internal events to enhance employee engagementMonitor procurement pipelines and oversee Go/No-Go decision-making processesRequired Skills:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred; 8+ years of A/E/C marketing and proposal experienceProven expertise in proposal development (SOQs, digital and print production), go/no-go processes, and business development supportProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Deltek or similar CRM systemsStrong writing, editing, and graphic design/layout skills with a solid visual senseExcellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and meeting facilitation skills, with the ability to lead marketing effortsFamiliarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Cosential/Unanet) and willingness to travel occasionallySalary range: Subject to individual review dependant on experience & backgroundApply below, or contact me directly for a confidential chat!
