Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise.Job Responsibilities Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scopeDrives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologiesWorks with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processesExecutes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexityStrongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actionsAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectProvide technical leadership for a team of infrastructure service specialists and administrators, setting the tone for technology planning, network asset portfolio, lifecycle management, and product managementProactively manage and understand emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and control techniques to effectively communicate, plan, and track remediationLead the Infrastructure Lifecycle Management effort to efficiently plan, budget, and implement hardware and software refresh and upgrades based on Organizational Strategy, Architecture Roadmap, and End of LifeConduct infrastructure audits and risk assessment as required, manage remediation planning and implementation, and integrate Risk Management into processes to ensure proactive identification, consistent awareness, efficiency, compliance, and better decision makingArticulate responses for requests for information (Audit, Regulator, Assessment) which is crisp and conciseRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsFormal training or certification on Infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience (this bullet point must remain)Familiarity with risk management frameworks, industry standards, and financial industry regulatory requirementsExpertise in technology risk management, information security, or related field with a focus on risk identification, assessment, and mitigationDeep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessmentsDeep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the productDeep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private cloudsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsDemonstrated ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environmentFast learner with an eye for detailCRISC, CISSP, or other industry-recognized risk certifications desirableThis position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
