Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Electrician/Maintenance to join out growing, Fortune 500, Agriculture manufacturing and distribution company.Hours/Pay:Starting at $30/hr, to be hired in at a higher rateShift will be 7 on 7 off 7:00am-7:00pm rotating days and nightsFlexibility to work varying shifts, overtime, and respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed. Job Duties/Qualifications:Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. Experience with installing, configuring, and programming VFDs and motor control systems. Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and troubleshooting is a plus. Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers. Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and arc flash safety. Ability to identify and mitigate electrical hazards to ensure a safe working environment. Experience conducting root cause analyses to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Skilled in performing hands-on tasks such as wiring, terminations, and component replacement in motor control panels and enclosures. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and parts inventory. Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for documentation and tracking. Experience:Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in motor control systems maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience with motor control circuits, motor starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and related electrical components.
