*About BulkLoads:* BulkLoads is the operating system for agricultural freight. Shippers and carriers sign up for our load board to post and bid on loads to haul — it's like a Craigslist for freight. But once they are in our system, we deliver a suite of tools that helps with the freight lifecycle end-to-end. The BulkLoads suite of products is more than just a load board. Our products span a variety of trucking needs, including a dispatching system (BulkTMS) and payments platform (Smart Freight Funding). And BulkLoads goes beyond agriculture: recent acquisitions of Livestock Network and Flatloads have expanded our reach into other freight verticals. *What you will do:* * Build full-stack across our TMS, Load board, and Integrations domains — from schema and database migrations to * production-ready UI * Ship well-scoped features end-to-end with support from senior engineers, taking ownership from task definition * through deployed code * Build new user-facing features with beautiful and scalable UI components * Collaborate with AI agents as first-class team members in your workflow *What we are looking for:* * Demonstrated taste for well-crafted software and a collaborative mindset * 1–3 years of experience building customer-facing products at a software company, or a meaningful portfolio of work * produced independently * React and TypeScript fundamentals, with comfortable exposure to the full stack (Node, databases, APIs) * Track record of shipping well-scoped features end-to-end * Product sensibility: you care about UX, speed, and correctness, and you're not afraid to ask why before diving into * the code * High ownership mentality: you're self-directed and take features from idea through shipped code, including * debugging production * Ability to work with clear architecture and patterns, and follow (then improve) what's written down * Curiosity about freight operations and the real costs your decisions create for users in the field * Comfort working with coding agents and AI-assisted workflows as a standard part of your day *Our Tech Stack*: * *TypeScript end-to-end* * *Frontend*: React 19 + TanStack (routing, data, tables), Tailwind CSS, Vite * *Backend*: TypeScript with type-safe oRPC APIs, Drizzle ORM on PostgreSQL, Effect-TS * *Mobile*: React Native (Expo) * *Infrastructure*: Vercel (continuous deploy), Sentry, PostHog * *Real-time & async*: Convex, Trigger.dev Join us if you’re ready to develop impactful applications!
