Responsibilities for this role include researching customer purchase history, creating quotations, managing delivery schedules, managing registrations, and following-up with customers for Rockwell Automation software products and services. This is a supporting role to our customers, Inside/Outside Sales Teams, and Automation Specialists. This position will support sales at multiple Kendall Electric locations.Exciting work you will do:The essential duties and responsibilities of an Automation Support Associate will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Quotations for new software licenses, customer training, product repairs, projects, and engineering laborQuotations for contracts related to software, technical support, repairs, and other contractual services offerings Work directly with Kendall Account Managers (sales) on the accounts they coverWork directly with Kendall Automation Engineers to research customers software installations, repair & training history, and support contractsWork directly with Kendall Inside Sales that will be processing orders for software and contractsWork directly with customers on new quotations and renewal contractsOther duties as assignedCompetencies you possess:Service ExcellenceResults, Action OrientedAccountability and ResponsibilityTeamwork and collaborationPriority SettingPlanning and organizingTime ManagementWhat you’ll need:Education: High School diploma or GED equivalentWork Experience: Interest of experience working in a sales environment; Experience with providing quotations and processing orderAnalytics/Computer Skills: Experience with business systems such as SAP and Eclipse; Experience with Mircorsoft Office; willing to learn the many software and contract offerings from Rockwell AutomationOrganization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in fast-paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environmentCross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally; provides excellent internal and external customer service; Self-motivated to learn new processes and accomplish tasks when dueCommunication Skills: Strong interpersonal communications, analytical and problem solving, organizational and written/verbal communication skillsPhysical, Mental and Visual Skills: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
