Java Cloud Tech Led
Cloud Java Tech LeadWe are looking for a Cloud Java Tech Lead. This is a 6+ month contract to hire opportunity with client Prime Therapeutics.
Interview process: IKM test or technical screening and 1 client round interview.
Role: Java Tech Lead
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-12 months C2HMust have experience with:
Microservices ArchitectureGCP, AWS or like MongoDB, Casandra, BigQuery, BigTable or similar This person will be the technical lead on the team. This role requires technical expertise along with coaching and mentoring other team members. The ideal candidate can communicate well with technical and business partners, build relationships across the enterprise, and show progress on the technical roadmap. Need: Guided Health Team Roadmap - very data intensive team, goal is to look at analytics and discover opportunities for prescription mgmt. and intervention. This team is getting split off into a smaller team with a new manager (hiring currently). They will need a very strong technical lead to take ownership of this team.
Tech stack:
- Strong JavaBig DataAny Cloud experience (GCP preferred but open)
- Background in Micro
- Service Architecture with Spring BootBig Data/Data Analytics – MongoDB, Casandra, TeraData or similar
- Automated testing frameworks - Cucumber, Gherkin or Similar
- Cloud Computing – Vmware Tonzu, GCP or similar
- User Interface Design and Development – REACT, Angular or Similar
- Dev OPS - CI/CD Pipeline
- Kotlin and DockerKafka or other event streaming platform.
- Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)This role will be approx 70% technical design/solutioning, 30% working with other teams and integrating/meeting/leading the team. Must be okay in a leadership role!

Job Description:
This position will be part of the Guided Health Technical team. Guided Health is one of Prime's foundational integrated and differentiating clinical products. This product is critical to optimizing Prime's total drug management capabilities. The technical team provides the ability to review pharmacy and medical claims, to identify opportunities for intervention, improve health outcomes and lower the overall cost of care. Members of the team are responsible for application support. This may include weekend or evening requirements. The Lead Systems Developer IT is responsible for providing a high degree of technical knowledge in application systems. This position will provide technical consultative advice and instruction to the team and our business partners. This position is responsible for leading the team to design, develop, test, and document complex application business solutions. This position is responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting systems and procedures. Collaborating with other team members by providing technical advice and training will be a core function of the position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Systems Developer IT team to analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs
- Develop and apply theories and methods to solve complex technological problems
- Manage work direction, lead and influence, and provide feedback to others within team
- Participate in staffing plans to identify subject matter experts (SMEs) and provide feedback for staff performance reviews
- Own application(s) within area, including proactive monitoring and communication of overall health and future sustainability
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required 5 years of experience with application development or package software implementation that includes web application experience Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
