Housekeeper

Summary Missouri Baptist University is look to hire six (6) Housekeepers. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. The campus housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across campus facilities, including residence halls, academic buildings, offices, and common areas. This role supports the University's mission by ensuring high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and customer service for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, residence halls, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures. Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste. Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed. Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures. Complete work orders assigned by the Housekeeping Lead, Facilities Management Coordinator or Facilities Manager. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property to supervisors. Support event setup and breakdown when required. Support and work with facilities management staff to ensure the campus grounds immediately around entrances are safe and clear from debris. Minimum Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Previous housekeeping or custodial experience Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and chemicals Preferred Education/Experience Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in an educational or institutional setting How to Apply Applicants should electronically submit the following items to Heidi Moore, Human Resources Coordinator (heidi.moore@mobap.edu) Cover letter expressing interest in the position, highlighting experience relevant to the role.
