CMM Programmer & Quality Inspection Specialist

Join our quality team to build, optimize, and run CMM programs, verify components against stringent standards, and turn data into decisions that elevate product quality.What you'll tackleCreate and execute CMM programs to validate complex dimensions and tolerances.Perform incoming/in-process/final inspections and tests to RBS and customer requirements.Produce inspection reports, certificates of conformance, and material certification packets.Own the calibration process (e.g., Gagetrack): maintain records, schedule calibrations, and ensure compliance.Drive scrap/rework documentation and shepherd corrective actions through closure.Conduct GR&R to confirm measurement system capability.Support ISO 9001 quality system activities; assist with internal process audits.Maintain the corrective action database and ensure timely updates.Safely move parts using manual methods, carts, and powered lift trucks.Keep your area clean, organized, and safe; follow all policies and safety rules.Step up for additional duties as needs evolve.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work setting & physical requirementsManufacturing environment; safety glasses and steel-toe footwear required when operating machinery.Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.Regular hand/finger use with moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping.ScheduleFull-time, 40+ hours/week.Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day; overtime, evenings, or weekends may occur based on business demand.Must-haves18+ years of age.High School Diploma/GED or significant relevant experience.2+ years in manufacturing quality control with ISO 9001 exposure.2+ years of CMM experience (Zeiss hardware and/or Calypso preferred).Working knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and related tools.Ability to read/write, perform basic math, and follow instructions.Nice-to-havesDeep experience with CMMs, optical comparators, and other inspection tools.Associate’s degree in Quality Assurance or a related industrial field.Certification in metal trades or Quality Control.Background managing gage calibration and maintenance programs.Experience controlling monitoring and measuring devices.SPC understanding and practical application.Core strengthsQuality inspection and quality controlBlueprint reading and tape measure skillsEquipment you'll useCoordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) — ZeissCalipers and micrometersPay & rewardsHourly range: $19–$26, depending on market factors, education, experience, skills, and certifications.Bonus eligibility: This position is part of the Quarterly Bonus plan in the Individual Contributor tier.Benefits that back youWe believe healthy, supported employees build great products.
