Process Engineer
Overview
As a Process Architect in advanced manufacturing, you will own process analysis, design, and optimization to improve flow, reduce variability, and elevate operational capability. You will partner with product development, operations, and quality to ensure scalable, efficient processes aligned with business goals. You’ll tackle structured problem solving, process mapping, and data-driven improvements across multiple value streams. This role offers meaningful impact by shaping manufacturability and integration of new products at scale.

ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end process architecture activities, including 3P events, value stream mapping, and development of Process-at-a-Glance and control documentationPerform detailed process mapping, FMEA, DFM assessments to identify waste, risk, bottlenecks, and opportunitiesDesign/refine manufacturing processes to improve flow, repeatability, throughput, and quality using disciplined methodsLead structured root-cause investigations and corrective actions with 9-Step Problem Solving, FMEA updates, data-driven approachesDrive process standards and documentation ensuring clarity and compliance across value streamsSupport new product development by evaluating manufacturability and defining process requirements for smooth production integrationPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with design intent, quality, safety, and operationsIdentify, justify, and support implementation of new equipment/tools/technologies to enhance process performanceOversee process validation, capability studies, and measurement system analysis to ensure stable, capable processesPrepare and deliver technical reports, recommendations, and presentations to leadership and technical teams
Key requirementsBachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline8+ years of process or manufacturing engineering experienceStrong analytical ability with data modeling, root cause analysis, and structured engineering toolsHands-on experience developing, optimizing, or scaling manufacturing processesProven track record leading process-focused initiatives such as NPI integration, process redesign, or major CI improvementsProject management experience delivering concepts through executionStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsCollaborative mindsetStrong communicationStructured problem solvingData modelingRoot cause analysisFMEA
