You will provide direct instruction using an accelerated, back-to-basics curriculum including Spalding (reading & writing) and enVision Math as you:* Implement instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.* Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.* Utilize direct instruction techniques to guide our students through a variety of activities designed to promote the social, physical and intellectual growth that is needed for primary school success!* Assist in assessing changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement.* Maintain effective and efficient record keeping procedures.* Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis.* Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment.* Model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community.* Ensure that student growth and achievement is continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification.* Participate in training and staff meetings.* Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as: meeting deadlines, honoring schedules and coordinating meetings as needed.* Evaluate each student's learning capabilities and celebrate student accomplishments.* Encourage students to uphold our values and model mature behavior and good character in the classroom, on the school campus, and throughout their lives.* Be active in the role when light lifting, sitting, standing, moving throughout the campus and traveling to other campuses as required.
