Server AssistantAs a Server Assistant in our legendary music and entertainment venues, you'll deliver exceptional guest service and increase the efficiency and productivity of the front-of-house team. You'll clean and reset tables and maintain dining areas at a restaurant, bar, and live entertainment destination. As the ideal candidate you're efficient, reliable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced live music venue.Continually bus tables throughout the shift. Clear and reset tables within three minutes of guest departure.Communicate with service staff to quickly meet guest needs. Respond to concerns and resolve issues with a professional, positive attitude.Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles. Make sure trash receptacles are clean and odor-free.Ensure floors are free of potential hazards. Clean all spills, moisture, debris, and other obstacles immediately. Use floor signs to caution guests and staff.Report damage to facility property, including furniture and fixtures, to management.Adhere to quality expectations and standards, including clean and professional uniforms and personal appearance.Maintain clean and orderly food service environment during and after service. Follow sanitation procedures required by health regulatory agencies in both public areas and back of house.Attend pre-shift meetings. Perform defined opening/running/closing duties.Model company service basics. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.Perform other duties as assigned.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperienceExperience in restaurant operations preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEffective interpersonal and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated team player and self-starterAble to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support business needsPhysical RequirementsSpeak, hear, and use non-verbal cues to communicate with guests. Walk up and down stairs while navigating the venue. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and frequently sit, kneel, bend, and reach to move goods.
