Denver, Colorado - 2026-05-26We are seeking an experienced NetApp Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join as a Resident Engineer supporting a growing and technically advanced enterprise environment. This role was created to provide dedicated expertise in optimizing an existing NetApp storage ecosystem and guiding the integration of new storage investments.The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, consultative, and comfortable working closely with a sharp engineering team to drive best practices, improve performance, and enhance scalability across storage infrastructure. Location: Onsite HYBRID work environment preferred (~onsite 2-3 times per week)Remote will be considered for a highly qualified candidate (willing to travel onsite 1-2 weeks per quarter)AS A NETAPP SME RESIDENT, YOU CAN EXPECT TO HAVE THESE RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with file migrations from Qumulo to NetApp Assist with file migrations from the Ground Software Development NFS standalone server to NetApp Assist with file migrations from the VM (backed by Nimble) to NetApp Evaluate ~400 corporate volumes/FlexGroups for best utilization of storage efficiencies (dedup/compression/compaction)Assist with rework of replication policies and implement intelligentlyAssist with identifying transient data and moving to new volumesAssist with ideas and implementation for snapshot redesignReview all clusters for best practices and standardizationEvaluate if Encryption key rotation is possible yet for Aggregate-level encryptionActive IQ Unified ManagerAssist with planning for move of SMB services from RHEL8 servers to NetAppReview shares for duplication and network configsEnsure all Service Processors are configured and connected properlyTo Be Successful, You’ll Need Experience Such AsNetApp SMEMigrationsReplication/Snapshot managementActive IQ Unified ManagerLinux (RHEL)Additional Information About This RolePay: up to $155,000 View our benefits information here: https://marketing.mytsp.net/tsp-benefitsCandidates must be authorized to work in the United StatesWE ARE TSPTSP is award-winning, customer-endorsed, and minority-owned.
