Location:722 West Broadway, Fulton NY 13069Starting Pay for this role - $21.50/hour to $26.87.00/hour, actual starting pay will depend on experiencePosition is overtime eligible and incentive eligiblePosition Overview - Member Service Representative IIAs a Member Service Representative, you’ll deliver exceptional service while building meaningful relationships with our members. You’ll play a key role in supporting AmeriCU’s strategic goals by combining service excellence, consultative sales, and community engagement.Member Experience & ServiceGreet and assist members in a professional, welcoming manner that reflects AmeriCU’s MVP‑1 Team culture.Serve as a trusted resource by conducting teller transactions and guiding members through Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) technology.Accurately perform account servicing, file maintenance, and documentation.Record interactions with current and prospective members in the CRM system to support relationship tracking and follow-up.Sales, Lending & Relationship Growth Take a consultative sales approach to identify and meet members’ financial needs.Interpret credit bureau reports and recommend appropriate products and services, including:Secured and unsecured loansCredit cardsReal estate loansSupport Financial Center lending goals by ensuring accurate, error-free loan documentation.Retain, expand, and acquire member relationships through referrals, cross-selling, courtesy calls, and in‑person conversations.Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales and service goals.Training, Collaboration & Business DevelopmentServe as the lead trainer within the assigned Financial Center for both desk and teller-line new hires.Provide training or support at other regional Financial Centers as needed.Build strong partnerships with line-of-business teams to drive member acquisition and deepen existing relationships.Demonstrate understanding of AmeriCU’s Strategic Plan and how your role contributes to overall success.Compliance & Community EngagementAdhere to all credit union policies, procedures, and operational standards.Maintain knowledge of and comply with regulatory requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and SAFE Act guidelines.Actively participate in community engagement and outreach activities that support AmeriCU’s mission and visibility.Who Are We?AmeriCU is a not‑for‑profit credit union based in Rome, NY with assets in excess of $3.0 billion and serving more than 200,000 members across Central New York, the United States, and beyond.
