Job Title:Data Center Engineer (AI Data Center) Location:Barstow, TXDuration:05+ MonthsContract to Hire:PossibleRelocation is acceptabe.Work hours: 8-5 / M-F - There could be off-hours shifts available / once the shift is determined it will be consistentComfortable with daily commuteWilling to work shifts and be on-callMUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING ON SERVERS (WIRING AND HARDWARE)HEAVY LIFTING REQUIREDJob Description: Engineers will provide troubleshooting, repair, parts ordering, preventative maintenance and Installation of Dell product located at Customer Site.Triage issues with direction from Dell SupportExecute plan of action from Dell Domain Engineer/L3Document POA Results, logs and service reports (Parts numbers/PPID of old/new parts replaced) to Dell via case emailReseating parts, swap or replace partsServer Testing and validation (running diagnostics, capturing and uploading logs)Upgrading Firmware as neededParts locker management, manage inbound and outbound partsSpare parts management, separate from parts locker (during CW server deployments) Parts return to DellYou will be successful in this role if you have:High School Diploma or GED requiredMay require technical certification or Associate DegreeGenerally, 3-6+ years’ experience in area of responsibilityHands-on experience with server hardware (CPU, memory, power supply, GPU replacements, server builds)Experience with server swaps and deploymentsExperience replacing server components (CPUs, memory, power supplies, GPUs, full server replacements)Experience with water cooling servers (desirable, not required)Familiarity with LinuxHas built PCsFollows provided Plan of Action (POA) from supportStays current with technology (reading, company announcements, continuous learning)Can handle the physical demands of the job#J-18808-Ljbffr
