Lead Application Development EngineerImmediate need for a talented Lead Application Development Engineer. This is a 04+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S(Remote). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Lead application development projects and manage delivery from end to end.Ensure multiple products and services integrate effectively to meet business requirements.Develop and promote application usage and development best practices.Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams on data and application architecture.Work with operational and development teams to establish testing and implementation and communicate application delivery progress.Oversee Tier 3 application support, including application upgrades and , assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks.Manage technology and organizational changes while ensuring stakeholders are informed.Provide technical guidance and software engineering expertise to management.Translate system requirements into effective technical solutions.Create conceptual and detailed technical design documents.Manage project resources and define technical roles and responsibilities.Ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Must have; Power Apps, Power BI, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)Power Automate – Workflow and business process automationDataverse – Data modeling and application developmentALM & Solution Deployment – Application Lifecycle Management, deployment pipelines, and environmentsPL-400 Certification – Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (Required)Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.5–7 years of related experience, or equivalent experience.Technical SkillsExperience with Change ManagementExperience with Enterprise ArchitectureStrong application development and software engineering knowledgeExperience with technical design, testing, implementation, and application supportStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independentlyStrong project management skillsExcellent judgment and decision-makingAbility to communicate effectively with management and technical teamsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong technical aptitudeHigh attention to detail and accuracyPreferred Power Platform ExperiencePower AppsPower AutomateDataversePower BISharePointMicrosoft Teams integrationALM (Application Lifecycle Management)Solution deployment pipelinesEnvironment governanceSecurity modelsExperience as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect on enterprise-scale implementationsCertifications Required:Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)Preferred:Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200)Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
