Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. Candidate must have strong capability in managing complex storage infrastructures across SAN, NAS, and cloud environments.Rate Range: $37/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Engineer job responsibilities include:Oversees the administration and optimization of SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage systems.Manages data migration and storage consolidation activities to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.Implements automation scripts using Python, Ansible, YAML, and APIs to streamline storage operations.Configures and maintains storage fabrics, switches, and associated hardware components.Performs troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution across large-scale storage environments.Collaborates with Agile teams to support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery of storage-related solutions.Required Qualifications:Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.7-8 years of hands-on experience in large-scale storage infrastructure.Candidate must have strong capability in managing SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage systems.Candidate will possess proven expertise in data migration, storage consolidation, and performance optimization.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
