Business Analyst - Business SolutionsLionsgate is seeking a Business Analyst to support business solutions and technology initiatives across the studios' business operations. This role is suited for someone with a consulting background, hands on studio experience, and the ability to use advanced analytics and AI tools to accelerate analysis, functional and technical specifications, business requirements, and stakeholder communication. You will partner with Finance, Sales & Distribution, Legal, Marketing, and Content Operations to translate business needs into clear requirements and deliver technological solutions achieving business goals.Responsibilities:Lead structured discovery with business stakeholders to define problems, requirements, and success criteriaTranslate business needs into clear functional, data, and reporting requirementsCreate executive ready documentation (problem statements, BRD, FRD, user stories, test criteria, process flows, presentations)Partner with infrastructure, engineering and analytics teams to ensure quality and timely implementationSupport vendor evaluations and implementation of internal and third party toolsAssist with project scoping, sequencing, testing and UAT executionDevelop training materials and support user adoptionUse AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to improve speed and quality of analysis and documentationQualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field37+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or similar rolePrior consulting experience with strong problem?structuring skillsMedia and/or Studio experience with familiarity across finance, content, or distribution workflowsHands?on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or CursorStrong understanding of SDLC (Agile, Kanban/Scrum, Waterfall)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with tools such as JIRA, Monday.com, Airtable, Microsoft 365, Visio, or LucidchartNice to Haves:Experience with ERP systems such as SAPFamiliarity with data platforms (Snowflake, Salesforce)Experience supporting Finance, FP&A, CFO, or CAO organizationsBackground in studio operations, post?production, or content distributionAbout Lionsgate:Lionsgate (NYSE: LION) is one of the world's leading standalone, pure play, publicly traded content companies.
