Job Title - Structural Engineer
Location – Remote but candidate Located in the USA Northwest Region (AK, ID, MT, OR, WA, WY) or Canada.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer License (PE/PEng)
Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering
Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC
Experience with Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks and Bluebeam
Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
MS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering or MS degree in Structural Engineering
Experience in semi-conductor industrial or general industrial facilities
Experience leading small teams Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities
Under general supervision, competently perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design
Plan and conduct work requiring judgement in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria
Exercise sound engineering judgement and problem-solving skills, not hesitating to reach out to others for guidance or confirmation when questions arise
☐ Possess knowledge of principles and practices of lateral analysis and design (wind and seismic), including ability to apply required provisions of the building code
Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control
Committed to checking your own work, reaching out to peers and seniors for guidance when questions arise
Perform calculation checking of other engineers' work
Take responsibility r managing workload, make and keep commitments, and take full ownership of assigned work
Pay: $40.00 - $41.00 per hour
