Apply via Dice today!DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Network Analyst to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for a Houston-based organization. This is an ongoing contract opportunity offering a hybrid work schedule (onsite and remote). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and Palo Alto firewalls, with a strong preference for candidates who have supported oil and gas environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructureConfigure, support, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless technologiesManage, configure, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, and threat preventionMonitor network performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and securityIdentify, diagnose, and resolve network issues in a timely mannerSupport network upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh projectsCollaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to support business initiativesMaintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standardsFollow best practices for network security, compliance, and change managementRequirementsRequired QualificationsMinimum of 4 years of experience as a Network Analyst or Network EngineerStrong hands-on experience with Cisco networking (routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VPN)Proven experience supporting Palo Alto firewalls in an enterprise environmentSolid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols, and network security conceptsExperience troubleshooting complex network issues in production environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting oil and gas or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with hybrid or large-scale enterprise networksRelevant certifications (Cisco, Palo Alto, or networking/security certifications) a plusWork EnvironmentHybrid schedule - combination of onsite and remote workHouston, TX (local candidates preferred)Ongoing contract with the potential for long-term extensionTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
