The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale energy infrastructure projects. This role demands a professional with a strong background in managing the execution of projects in power generation, gas processing, or refining/chemical industries, and a proven track record of overseeing complex projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include project planning and execution, team leadership, stakeholder management, contract management, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight. The ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years of progressive project management experience, with a focus on capital-intensive EPC projects, and a technical background with a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. PMP certification is preferred. The VP of Projects will be expected to have a high-energy, solutions-driven approach, and a proactive mindset, with a strong track record in EPC project execution. Experience in medium-voltage electrical infrastructure and familiarity with project management software is also required. The role is pivotal in ensuring that all projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The candidate must have a background that includes significant exposure to medium voltage systems, OEM packaged equipment, and complex utility or process integration.
