QA Engineer

We are looking for an intermediate-level QA Engineer with a strong engineeringmindset to join our product development team.This role sits at the intersection of product understanding, test design, andtechnical analysis, working closely with developers and Software DevelopmentEngineers in Test (SDETs).The ideal candidate is not a "button-clicker," but someone who can readspecifications, reason about system behavior, anticipate edge cases, and maketesting visible as a core part of the development process.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, maintain, and execute clear, structured test cases based onproduct specifications, acceptance criteria, and technical designs.• Translate product requirements and implementation logic into meaningfultest coverage, including edge cases and negative scenarios.• Actively analyze defects:• Reproduce issues reliably• Investigate root causes• Provide actionable insights to developers• Collaborate closely with SDETs by:• Providing input on test scenarios and system behavior• Explaining business logic and edge cases• Helping shape automation coverage strategy• Ensure test work is visible and traceable within the development lifecycleby linking test cases, execution results, and defects to requirements,development tasks, and releases.• Participate in refinement, grooming, and release discussions to ensurequality is built in early.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation and executionresults in TestRail.• Track defects, test tasks, and quality risks using Azure Boards.• Validate complex workflows typical to a cybersecurity SaaS platform(scans, reports, configurations, permissions, user flows)
