Experienced Preschool Teacher

We are seeking an Experienced Preschool Teacher to join our dedicated team at The Sapling School in Fair Lawn, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. The hours for this position will be anywhere from 9am to 6:30pm Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. Observe and assess the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents and staff as needed. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain program quality and consistency. Maintain accurate records of attendance, development, and incidents. Communicate effectively with parents, addressing questions and concerns in a professional manner. Requirements Previous experience as a preschool teacher or in early childhood education. Relevant certifications or degrees in early childhood education or related fields preferred. Strong understanding of child development principles and teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
