Many of our patients are receiving their first experience with professional, compassionate oral health care-and it starts with you.Position Summary As the Dentist at our facility, you will serve as the clinical authority on all dental matters, providing high-quality oral health care and overseeing the dental department. In this dual leadership and treatment role, you will:Provide a full range of general dentistry services-preventive, restorative, surgical, periodontal, endodontic, and prosthodontic-per facility policyOversee staff in cleanings, impressions for prosthetics, oral hygiene programs, and accurate recordkeepingPerform and interpret radiographic examinationsArrange appropriate referrals for procedures not performed on-siteSet treatment priorities and determine appropriateness of non-routine careDocument all examinations using applicable dental classification systems (e.g., APHA)Maintain dental office security, including instrument, medication, and needle countsSubmit monthly dental department activity reportsDevelop and update departmental policies and proceduresParticipate in staff development and ensure compliance with facility standardsYou&#39;ll do more than treat dental issues.You&#39;ll provide care that restores function, prevents disease, and builds trust in the patient-provider relationship.What You&#39;ll NeedDoctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degreeActive unrestricted Dental license in state of practice.Board certified or Board-eligible in Dentistry.Active DEA license required.Active CPR certification required.Minimum one (1) year practicing dentistry; Correctional experience preferredStrong clinical, diagnostic, and procedural skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a high-demand environment while delivering compassionate careEqual Opportunity Employer We celebrate diversity and welcome all qualified candidates.Your skills matter here.
