Programmer Analyst 3 - PowerBuilder Developer

PowerBuilder Developer And IT AnalystLooking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background specialized in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and possess advanced skills in T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. Day to day activities include data management, source control (TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT), unit testing, documentation, testing, production support, change management, software development and data integrity. Minimum Qualifications: Some college preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) Work in a hybrid office Willingness to learn Required SkillsJob Function - Description - Years of Experience PowerBuilder Developer - Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data. - Current experience 5 T-SQL Query Writing - Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database. Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data. - 10 Data Management - Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis. - 10 Source Control - Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT. - 5 Unit Testing - Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes. - 10 Documentation - Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams. - 10 Testing - Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios. - 5 Production Support - Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis. - 5 Change Management - Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes.
