Assistant Group Supervisor

Experience is encouraged but not required, as you will engage with other experienced educators on a daily basis. Responsibilities: - Assist the supervisor in managing daily operations and activities - Support the supervisor in creating and implementing lesson plans and curriculum - Provide guidance and support to staff members - Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies - Help maintain a safe and clean environment for children - Assist with record keeping and documentation - Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about children's progress Skills: - Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles - Experience working with students or children in a daycare, classroom, or nanny setting - Familiarity with special education practices and strategies - Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Childcare Employee discount Paid time off Professional development assistance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
