Engineer II

Engineer II for Western Alliance Bank – Irving, TX Job Description: Responsible for testing large and complex banking and commercial lending software applications. Collaborate with business users and the project team to design and implement the overall quality assurance strategy. Abide by quality assurance processes and standards. Coordinate testing efforts that involve multiple systems and business users. Integrate application programing interface testing. Apply understanding of multiple test automation frameworks and DevOps. Create and execute complex SQL scripting queries. Design and maintain test plans, cases, and defects. Conduct and complete test execution and test data preparation. Work cross-functionally in a strategic partnership during product implementation. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, application design, development, and testing. Position allows remote work one day per week and reports to the company office at 122 West John Carpenter Freeway, Suite 200, Irving, TX 75039. Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and 2 years of experience. Must have experience in each of the following skills: Commercial lending software and banking applications, including Baker Hill Next Gen and Interest Rate Hedging; Database validation testing using SQL queries; Azure DevOps for test plans, test cases, and defects; Webservices testing using Postman and RESTlet; Full suite of automated test scripts using Selenium and Java; Jenkins and GitHub; Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) implementation with Cucumber Framework using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Maven; and Manual mobile testing using emulators and IOS simulators.
