This position requires hands-on leadership experience, technical knowledge of IT operations, and the ability to manage projects while directly supervising team members. The ideal candidate will combine project management expertise with technical skills to ensure successful delivery of IT services across multiple locations.Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager (Working Leader) will be responsible for overseeing IT service delivery projects while providing direct supervision to team members. Principal responsibilities include:Lead and directly supervise a team of 20+ IT professionals while actively participating in project deliveryPlan, execute, and close out projects related to IT support services at various client locationsDevelop project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets aligned with contract requirementsCoordinate daily operations and ensure service delivery meets or exceeds client expectationsMonitor and report project progress, risks, issues, and performance metrics to program leadershipManage project scope, schedule, and resources to ensure successful and timely deliveryServe as a technical liaison between the client, program management, and delivery teamsImplement and maintain project management best practices and methodologiesMentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and professional skillsEnsure compliance with all contract requirements, service level agreements, and quality standardsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery efficiencyCollaborate with other project managers and technical leads to ensure consistent service deliveryParticipate in client meetings and status reviews as a subject matter expertEducation And ExperienceRequired (must meet one of the following education/experience combinations):Master's degree in a directly related IT field with 7+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree in a directly related IT field with 9+ years of experienceRelevant education/experience in an IT discipline related to the assigned project area (e.g., Network Engineering, Network Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer or Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Forensics/Security, etc.)Experience working in DOW Computing Environments5+ years of experience leading teams of 20 or more employeesSecurity+ certification (or equivalent DOW Directive 8570.1 IAT II)At least one certification in project management (PMP, CAPM, etc.)Required Skills And CompetenciesDemonstrated experience managing IT projects within government environmentsProven track record of leading technical teams while actively participating in project workStrong understanding of project management methodologies and best practicesExperience with project management tools and softwareExcellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, management, and technical staffProficiency in creating and maintaining project documentation including plans, schedules, and status reportsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement solutionsExperience with risk management and mitigation strategiesUnderstanding of DOW security requirements and IT governance frameworksKnowledge of IT service delivery best practices and quality standardsAbility to make independent decisions while aligning with program objectivesDesired Skills And CompetenciesPMP certificationITIL certificationExperience working on federal contractsKnowledge of federal IT systems and infrastructureFamiliarity with DOW acquisition processesExperience with Agile project management methodologiesAdvanced technical knowledge in one or more IT specialty areasExperience with IT service management toolsKnowledge of quality management processes and continuous improvement techniquesExperience with budget management and financial trackingClearance RequirementTS/SCI security clearance Our Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
