Allocations & Entitlements DeveloperThe Allocations & Entitlements (A&E) Developer has the overall responsibility of supporting the Volumetric Allocation and Entitlements workflows. The analyst will be part of a local Agile Team, which is part of a Global Product Organization responsible for the delivery and support of various solutions used to meet customer needs. This position will be based out of Houston, TX, USA. Primary Job Functions:The A&E Developer has the overall responsibility of supporting the Volumetric Allocation and Entitlements workflows.Develop recommended standards and technical designs in Energy Components applicationIdentify and remediate technical debt within the application back-end and associated workflowsWork with business customers to define and implement enhancements/automation to business process flowsSupport & Develop data extractionsCollaborate with the team in Code ReviewsParticipate in Requirement Gathering and SpecificationDefine, maintain, and enhance allocation algorithmsAssist in resolution of escalated or more technical issuesProvide additional support as needed for a reserve management application as neededJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree or master's degree from recognized university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering or related fields with minimum GPA 6.0 and aboveMinimum 5 years of experience in supporting Quorum's Energy Components (formerly Tieto's Energy Components)Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting vast experience with PL/SQL for OracleExperience with Test Driven DevelopmentExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous DeliveryApplication Performance analysis, debugging & optimizationTeam player who is willing to contribute and strengthen team's knowledgeExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishWilling to flex time as required to meet global customer needs.Preferred Knowledge/Skills Abilities:JASPER DevelopmentExperience working in a Scrum teamKnowledge of Oil & Gas productionExperience with each of the following Energy Components modules (Production/Transport/Sales)Experience working in Cloud Environments, especially AWS.Experience in programming languages – Java or.NET (preferable)Experience developing or consuming REST APIs, preferably.NET/SwaggerExperience working with Global IT organizations (e.g. Infrastructure, Database) to resolve complex issuesPrevious experience within a global or demanding support rolePosition is 100% onsite and requires local candidates.
