Our client, a prominent player in the energy sector, is currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager - Global Facilities to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This permanent role is focused on managing large-scale projects within distribution, transmission, power distribution, and energy. The Construction Project Manager will provide vital support to the EPC Project Manager or Program Manager, overseeing operations from pre-construction through to project completion and warranty periods.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day construction activities and ensure the successful execution of single or multiple projects simultaneouslyAdhere to and promote the company's safety programs, trainings, and policies, including managing the Safety & Health performance of project team members and subcontractorsFacilitate project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and establish critical project objectivesDevelop and maintain client relationships, assisting with proposals and project-related itemsParticipate in internal and external project risk reviews and negotiate contracts and change ordersImplement sections of the Project Execution Plan, including construction execution, quality assurance, and staffing plansOversee development plans for site layout, mobilization, and demobilizationReview and communicate project reports and status updates to internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely distribution of deliverablesManage project documentation, including RFI's, submittals, and change management processesOversee project safety, quality, and financial audits and assessmentsProvide mentorship and training to junior staff and ensure compliance with company policiesJob Requirements:Experience in project management within the construction industry, with a background in engineering or related fieldsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with project management softwareStrong communication, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask and manage large volumes of work in a fast-paced environmentExperience on construction project sites or with program management across industries such as aviation, commercial, energy, government, and moreUnderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesCapability to meet driving requirementsBenefits:Opportunity to manage significant and diverse construction projectsProfessional development and mentoring opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentComprehensive employee benefits packageIf you are a skilled Construction Project Manager with experience in the energy sector, and you are looking for a challenging opportunity to advance your career, we would love to hear from you.
