Job: Automotive Fuel Economy Engineer – Vehicle Homologation & ComplianceDuration: 6+ MonthsLocation: Allen Park, MIJob Description:• Develop and maintain project work plans including status updates.• Coordinate with activities regarding prototype vehicle and part requirements and availability.• Support communication and confirmation of vehicle instrumentation requirements.• Coordinate with proving ground to execute vehicle mileage break-in.• Perform fuel economy testing:o Test request generationo Data analysiso Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required.o Cross-functional meeting support as requiredo Coordinate catalyst bench aging• Compile and submit test and supporting documentation to EPA as needed or required.• Support any EPA confirmatory testing.RequirementsBS in Engineering or related fieldFuel Economy homologation and compliance experience.Years of Experience: 7.00 Years of Experience
