Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Chemist to join our team and assist in applications development. The role involves preparing samples, performing analytical tests, recording data and observations, and preparing summaries of experiments. You will also perform both manual and automated die bonding applications, troubleshoot basic process issues, and escalate them as needed. Additionally, you will perform parameter optimization and failure analysis, handle microscopic components using microscopes, tweezers, and vacuum tools, and ensure process documentation, basic troubleshooting, maintaining repeatability, and yield are upheld.ResponsibilitiesAssist in applications development by preparing samples and performing analytical tests.Record data and observations, and prepare summaries of experiments.Perform die bonding applications both manually and automatically.Troubleshoot basic process issues and escalate them appropriately.Perform parameter optimization and failure analysis.Handle microscopic components using microscopes, tweezers, and vacuum tools.Ensure process documentation, basic troubleshooting, maintaining repeatability, and yield.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of industry experience in a related field.Technical certification or degree in a related field.Experience in materials testing, working with metals, quality control, or lab experience.Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to log process data.Strong attention to detail with a focus on process control and documentation.Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with statistical analysis software such as Minitab is a plus.Hands-on with good time management skills.Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality.Physical ability to stand, reach, use fine tools, and occasionally lift small weights or handle assemblies.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a lab environment.
