Cyber Security Lead

Key ResponsibilitiesEngage in and act as an extension of the Client IT team, led by the Client IT Security Director/CISO.Provide security thought leadership, consulting, and best-practice insights to the Client IT Security team.Collaborate with Client IT Security to create, review, and update the security roadmap.Review and analyze business requirements and design appropriate security solutionsKnowledge and ExperienceGeneral RequirementsStrong team player with a results-driven approach to achieving organizational goals.Extensive experience in IT security, risk management, defense strategies, and security technologies.Certifications & Professional CredentialsCISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) – Required.Additional relevant certifications, licenses, or professional memberships preferred.Governance, Risk & ComplianceExperience working with:Legal teamsAudit teamsCompliance stakeholdersAbility to:Track evolving cyber threats and digital trendsAlign security strategies accordinglyEvaluate vendor statements of work for security adequacy.Assess third-party audit reports to identify deficiencies and required controls.Report findings to the Director of IT Security.Security Infrastructure ExpertiseHands-on experience managing:FirewallsIntrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)Web Application Firewalls (WAF)Endpoint ProtectionSIEM and log management systemsIdentity & Access Management (IAM)Privileged Access Management (PAM)Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) toolsProject & Business SkillsStrong project management skills with experience in structured methodologies.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Working knowledge of client business functions and ability to assess applicable IT security threats.Familiarity with legal and regulatory compliance requirements.Identity & Access ManagementExperience with:SSO / MFA (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, 1Password)PAM, IGA, UAM, UARWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
