This role focuses on technical oversight, mentorship, and building a high-performing team while strengthening client relationships and driving business growth.Key Responsibilities:Lead and grow the Substation Engineering team, with a focus on P&C expertiseProvide technical oversight and QA/QC for P&C design packages (4.16kV–500kV)Support engineers with relay protection, control systems, and design challengesOversee protection schemes (line, bus, transformer) and system coordinationGuide project execution, resource planning, and deliveryMentor team members and develop training programs to scale capabilitiesPartner with business development to expand client baseDrive department strategy, growth, and profitabilityCollaborate closely with engineering, construction, and commissioning teamsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)10+ years of substation experience with a strong focus on Protection & ControlProven ability to build, lead, and scale engineering teamsDeep knowledge of protection systems, relay design, and industry standards (NERC, NEC, NESC, IEEE, etc.)Experience reviewing and guiding P&C design packagesProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license required
