AI/ML Developer
Overview
In this role, you will design, develop, and improve generative AI applications and services within Dassault Systèmes’ R&D organization. You will blend software engineering with practical AI/ML work to deliver production-ready solutions using LLMs, RAG, and related technologies. You’ll collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to turn user and business needs into innovative AI capabilities. You will prototype new techniques, ensure high-quality code, and optimize performance and reliability. This is an opportunity to shape scalable AI-infused software in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Generative AI applications using LLM and ML technologiesCollaborate with product management, architects, and engineering teams to deliver AI solutionsDevelop, deploy and integrate ML models, agentic AI workflows, and Retrieval augmented generation systemsConduct prototypes and PoC initiatives to evaluate new technologies and approachesDevelop high-quality, maintainable code with code reviews and continuous improvementAnalyze application performance, user feedback, and usage metrics to optimize and enhanceTroubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to software quality and operational excellence
Key requirementsB.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field4+ years of experience in ML, AI, or software engineering with at least 2 years in Generative AIStrong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn)Hands-on experience with LLM-powered applicationsExperience implementing RAG systems, semantic search, and vector databasesSolid understanding of prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI agent design patternsFamiliarity with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalentsKnowledge of ML fundamentals, DL architectures, NLP, embeddings, fine-tuning, and model optimizationExperience building and deploying production-grade softwareStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skillsAbility to learn new technologies quicklyFamiliarity with CI/CD, containerization, and modern software practicesExperience in Agile environmentscollaboration with cross-functional teamsanalytical mindsetproblem-solving aptitudePythonPyTorchTensorFlow
