Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the accounting team across AR, AP, Inventory/Cost Accounting, and Payroll functions.Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Oversee revenue recognition, project accounting, and compliance with ASC 606 standards.Direct inventory valuation, cost accounting, COGS analysis, cycle counts, and inventory controls.Monitor working capital performance, including accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, and cash flow management.Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate policies.Coordinate internal and external audits and support regulatory reporting requirements.Oversee banking relationships, cash management, reconciliations, and payment authorization controls.Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization to enhance financial visibility and efficiency.Partner with Operations, Sales, HR, and Finance leadership to provide financial insights that support business performance and decision-making.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).Progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial equipment, or distribution environments.Strong knowledge of:Financial reporting and month-end closeRevenue recognition (ASC 606)Inventory and cost accountingIntercompany accountingInternal controls and audit managementERP experience (SAP preferred; SAP Business One a plus).Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and OneStream is advantageous.Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
