Plating Operator
*Position Summary: *Plating operator for printed circuit boards. Select plating recipes from machine program, load flight bar and controls/monitors panel/pattern electroplating lines, unload panels from flight bars and check plating quality during the plating process. No experience necessary, onsite training provided. Must be able to work with chemicals and lift up to 50 pounds. Minimum high school / GED or equivalent.
*Responsibilities:*
1. To operate Copper Plating Line and supporting equipment with little supervision.
2. To make set-up decisions which conform to customer specification.
3. To evaluate and discontinue processing of non-conforming product and report it to manager.
4. To follow production control scheduling.
5. To maximize productivity.
6. To review all travelers.
7. Load the line.
8. Tape boards.
9. Other duties as assigned based on needs of the facility.
*Required Skills:*
1. Understanding of industry standards and appropriate application.
2. Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with management and supervisory staff.
3. Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures.
4. Must be able to work with little supervision.
*Education/Experience:*
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Prefer experience in the printed circuit industry.
