Engineering Intern
Aurora, ILEngineering InternAs a Process Engineering Intern who is responsible for executing on the day to day engineering tasks provided by management for existing manufacturing processes and methods. Ideally, this position would recommend equipment for use and develop jigs, fixtures, and tools to aid in the assembly and/or warehousing operations processes. This role requires contribution to team effort.Key Responsibilities:Investigate and correct process problems as they are identified by internal and external customersExecute on the engineering tasks identified by managementPotentially develop and implement improvements to the existing manufacturing processes and methodsPotentially develop and implement quality improvements in manufacturingDevelop jigs, fixtures and tools to aid in the assembly of hearing aidsDevelop and implement process work instructions as instructed by managementContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededPerform other duties as necessary or as requested by managementMore About You: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical EngineeringMinimum 2yrs of college studiesUnderstanding of manufacturing process flowBasic drafting skillsAble to work in a team environmentA minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at SonovaDon't meet all the criteria?
