Notter Boys & Girls Club231 W Gainsborough RdThousand Oaks, CA 91360Organization: Boys & Girls Club of Greater Conejo ValleyPosition DetailsReports To: Club DirectorStatus: Non-ExemptSchedule: Full-TimeJob SummaryThe Club Coordinator assists the Club Director with the overall daily operations of the designated Club, with primary responsibility for program implementation, service delivery, staff supervision and training, membership management, and administrative support.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProgrammingEnsure programs, services, and activities prepare youth for success while promoting safety and quality at all timesPlan and facilitate engaging programs incorporating social-emotional learning (SEL)Ensure compliance with health, safety, cleaning, and applicable public health guidelinesDemonstrate strong social-emotional skills as a role model for members and staffIdentify and address behavioral issues using positive strategies; escalate concerns to the Club Director as neededMonitor and evaluate program effectiveness; recommend improvements based on member needs and participation dataMaintain accurate records including daily attendance, program participation, achievements, and incident reportingSupport recruitment of new members and promote Club programsMaintain facilities and ensure equipment and supplies are organized and in good conditionMembershipPerform front desk and administrative membership functionsRegister new members and manage program check-in/check-out processesProvide high-quality customer service to members, families, and guestsPrepare and maintain membership reports and participation trackingProcess membership dues and activity fee invoicingEnsure all members and guests follow registration proceduresMonitor participation to avoid scheduling conflicts across programsAdministrationPrepare daily deposits and submit to Finance in a timely mannerProcess payroll and timesheets in the absence of the Club DirectorAssist with marketing efforts including flyers, newsletters, and email communicationsSupport recruitment, training, and supervision of staff and volunteersProvide ongoing feedback and support staff developmentAssist with purchasing and monitor supply expenses within approved budgetsResource DevelopmentIdentify potential individual, corporate, and foundation funding opportunitiesUtilize BGCA and other resources to identify grant opportunitiesCommunicate potential opportunities to supervisor and resource development teamHealth & SafetyMaintain a safe and healthy environment for youth and staffSupervise members at all times in program areasEnsure compliance with organizational safety policies and applicable health guidelinesMonitor facility safety and report incidents, injuries, or property damageReview emergency and crisis procedures with staff and members regularlyQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred in education, recreation, social work, or related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of four (4) years of experience planning and implementing youth programs requiredOne (1) to three (3) years of accounting experience preferredStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)Must pass background check and meet all requirements for working with youthCompensationPay Range: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour(Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity in accordance with California law.)BenefitsPaid sick leave in accordance with California lawFull-time employees may be eligible for health, dental, vision, and retirement benefitsProfessional development opportunitiesEmployment RequirementsEmployment is contingent upon:Live Scan fingerprint clearance and background check (in accordance with California law and the Fair Chance Act)TB testing and clearanceVerification of authorization to work in the United StatesSatisfactory DMV driving recordValid California driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance (if driving on behalf of the organization is required)A criminal history will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment.
