Join us and make an impact on patient care through innovation and compassionate support!If you want to be part of a growing organization committed to healing, hope, and advanced care, join us and help make a meaningful impact!Job DescriptionRegistered Nurse (RN)- Interventional Radiology Location: Forest Hills & New Hyde ParkHours/Days: 4/10 Hour Shifts; Monday - Thursday (Between 7-6)Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)In This Role, You WillStart and Maintain IV’s for Radiology procedures including but not limited to CT scans and PET/CT scans.Monitor and chart vital signs, weight and heightCollaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge.Conduct cancer research to enhance treatment protocols assigned to cancer patients.Provide supportive resources for the patient and the families to promote a positive outlook.Teach patients and the families regarding treatment expectations.Watch and record the patient’s progress on a constant basis.Chart the patient’s response to treatment and medication.Complete MAR after treatment.Provide the patient with discharge instructions that are specific to the patient as well as emergency numbers after care.We RequireValid New York State RN LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency with an EMR (preferred)Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing, bending and reachingKnowledge of standard precautions and the ability to utilize appropriate PPE when administering cytotoxic agents and handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluidsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.Reliable transportation to travel to NYI locations for patient care needsWhat We OfferSalary: Starting at $56/hr per hour based on experienceBenefits: Health Insurance on day 1, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-term disability, 401k Plan, Paid Time Off (PTO), 8 paid holidays (2 floating)Join us at NYI, where we are making strides in healthcare through innovative and compassionate care.Visit our website at: Nyimaging.comFollow us on Facebook: NYI on FacebookNew York Imaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
