Develop policies, manage training, and implement IT security controls to meet DFARS/CMMC requirements acting as the central point for internal and external audits and risk management.Essential FunctionsDocumentation Management: Lead the creation and maintenance of the System Security Plan (SSP) and the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M). Requirements traceability matrix.Audit Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for C3PAO (Third-Party Assessment Organizations) and manage formal assessments.Risk Remediation: Oversee the closing of security gaps identified during internal or external readiness assessments.Continuous Monitoring: Conduct regular system audits (inventory control and cyber audits), incident response testing, and ongoing policy enforcement.Personnel Security: Develop and deliver role-based security training.Microsoft Office Suite and tools: Experience with the Office suite of tools Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, OneNote, SharePoint.Scan Compliance: Nessus and SCAP scanning, results remediation tracking.QualificationsBachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.4-7 years in government compliance, security, or project management, specifically with DOD regulations or cybersecurity frameworks.Deep understanding of NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and NARA CUI guidelines.Ability to identify and classify Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Federal Contract Information (FCI) within the organization.The position involves heavy lifting, ladder work, and working in tight or confined areas.May require up to 5% travel CONUS.Preferred Additional SkillsCMMC Certified Professional (CCP) or CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) designations.EEO StatementL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
