The Field Sales representative will engage in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, the collection of data and delivery of product to the well site. You are responsible for providing innovative insights to your customers and informing them about new and existing opportunities. This includes recognizing your customers' needs with an overall goal of increasing company sales.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Selling and promoting products to both existing and potential clientsEstablishing and maintaining positive business relationships with clientsMonitoring competitors’ sales activitiesCold calling potential clientsCoordinating sales efforts with other departments Supplying the management team with reports on customer needs or interests, potential new products, or services, and competitive activitiesMaintain proper inventory control and submit required paperwork according to company policy.Inform the District Manager if there are any discrepancies between products and services and ensure that company products meet or exceed client expectations.Frequent travel is required to visit drilling rigs in the field, which includes driving to and from location.Participates in any training as needed.Promotes respect for operating procedures and adherence to safety regulations.Must be available for on call and weekends. QualificationsA minimum of 2 years bit sales experience or 5 years oilfield sales experience preferred but not required Excellent organization skillsGood interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skillsAbility to overcome objections from potential clientsExperience with commissioned sales, field sales, or related fieldsSelf-motivated energywith the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and objectivesRecord of achieving quotasAbility to solve problems and to deal with a variety of variablesStrong Communication and Customer Service skills to build and maintain professional relationships.Problem-solving skills with a goal-oriented mindset to address customer needs effectively.Experience in the oil and gas or energy industry preferred but not required.Must have a valid driver's license.Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
