Mechanical Engineer (Sarasota, FL)Position DescriptionCodeware is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our Growth team in Sarasota, FL. This individual works closely with prospective clients to determine and demonstrate the applicability of our products.Codeware provides a competitive salary and benefits package to all full-time employees. Travel is not required.Position ResponsibilitiesWorks with prospects to understand their needs and determine which software package is the best fit. This includes reviewing drawings and answering technical/engineering questions about the software's capabilities.Provides online technical software demonstrations to potential clients. This involves answering questions regarding the application of COMPRESS, INSPECT or Shopfloor programs.Provides post-sales online training and new user orientation.Other Engineering related projects.Position RequirementsSkills/QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.1+ year work experience in a technical field, preferably engineering or manufacturing.Technical sales experience an asset.Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor or ABAQUS.Multi-lingual an asset (Spanish, Korean, Italian).CharacteristicsAble to communicate in a clear and concise manner.Strong organizational skills.Comfortable multitasking.Able to work independently as well as part of a team.Committed to professional advancement through continuous learning.
