Job DetailsJob Location4009 Serendipity Resort & Campground - Brownsville, TNSalary Range$15.00 - $15.00 HourlyDescriptionThe Line Cook is responsible for knowing the menu, ingredients, method of cooking, flavors, sauces, and sides, as well as pricing for all menu items. Reporting to the General Manager and working alongside the Cook Team, they will provide friendly, welcoming, outgoing, informed, and hospitable service and ultimately, an exceptional guest experience. This role will support Oasis Marinas in working to provide efficient and effective services by following the preparation, plating, and service standards set by management. A successful Line Cook will be high energy and action-oriented, have great attention to detail, be a natural relationship builder, and have exceptional communication skills. Cooks must participate in thorough cleaning throughout the shift, and at the end of the shift. Cooks must maintain a clean-as-you-go policy. Cooks must know how to operate the kitchen dupe system, Toast, to produce an accurate order in a timely manner. Cooks must accurately punch in and out on a timely basis using the Paycom app. Cooks must know daily menu features and be able to communicate them to servers, with pricing. Cooks must maintain the managers’ standards for appearance. Cooks must also do reasonable tasks as assigned by management. All other duties – perform all other duties as assigned, including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills, and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks.About You: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary program certificate Proven experience as a Line Cook Knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and cooking methods Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and utensils Why Oasis?
