Program Manager

Summary The IT PMO Portfolio Interdependency Manager collaborates with IT PMO portfolio leadership and program teams to identify, track, and drive alignment of interdependencies across identified critical business initiatives, inclusive of both waterfall and agile ways of working. This includes partnering with Project, Program, and Portfolio Managers to raise the visibility of appropriate interdependencies, drive tracking and alignment across efforts, and support escalation of risks and issues. Areas of Focus Partner with Project and Program managers to support identification and capturing of key cross-program interdependencies. Partner across Projects and teams to facilitate planning alignment of interdependencies. Partner with interdependency owners to accurately capture interdependency details – e.g. clearly defined dependency, owners, need by dates, implications of delays, etc. Facilitate recurring cross-program interdependency alignment forum with key stakeholders to provide visibility into material dependencies, inform stakeholders of areas of risk, and identify risks and issues for escalation. Partner with IT PMO Portfolio, Program, and Project managers to support identification and escalation of key cross-program issues and risks. Maintain and evolve interdependency artifacts – dependency tracking tool, portfolio roadmap, etc. Skills / Experience Seasoned Program Manger with in-depth experience leading complex programs with multiple dependencies across projects, IT teams, Lines of Business, Products, etc. Ability to simplify and explain complex concepts and communicate to all levels of the organization. Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills. In-depth experience with interdependency identification, alignment, tracking, and communication in both waterfall and agile environments. Continuous improvement mindset.
