Data Entry Specialist

Job Title: Data Entry Specialist (AM Shift) Location: Westlake Village, CA, 91361( Onsite) Type: 5 months Contract (contract runs through the end of July) Shift: AM Shift:- 8.00 am to 5:00 pm PST (Monday-Friday) Logline: 12k keystroke minimum, Touch Typist Only Description: Data Entry (DE) personnel will be expected to handle exceptions as part of their duties. They will need to decipher handwriting, decide on spellings, use common sense and experience to read messy handwriting, and follow state guidelines on when/how to enter a name. Additionally, they will need to be able to handle exceptions, which are invalid names that were not automatically processed. Requirements: Touch typist only Fluent in reading and writing English; must be familiar with common names and spellings Able to read cursive handwriting Must be computer-savvy and understand universal computer commands Experience in data entry is a plus, but not always required if the candidate has other strong skills Must be a critical thinker Have deductive reasoning skills Detail-oriented Basic math skills
