Associate Manager, Risk OperationsLocations: Chicago | NYC | Florida | HybridAbout the RoleSS&C, through our partnership with Lighthouse Investment Partners, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Manager of Risk Operations to join our team. This position supports the client's alternative investment platform with a focus on macro strategies. This role is flexible to be based in either the client's Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or New York, NY office and will report directly to the Head of Risk and Senior Manager Risk Operations. Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence.You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.How You Will Make an ImpactAssist in maintaining and enhancing investment data systems and databases;Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency;Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools for portfolio analysis;Collaborate with colleagues to conduct research and generate insights for investment strategies;Help prepare data-driven materials for internal and external presentations;Take ownership of ad hoc data projects and deliver results in a timely manner;Stay current with financial markets and data trends to support investment decisions.Required Experience2-5 years of relevant experience in risk analysis, financial data, or investment operationsExperience working with investment risk analytics platforms such as MSCI RiskMetrics, Bloomberg MARS, or similar toolsWhat Sets You ApartProgress toward CFA or similar certificationBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related fieldExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills, both written and verbalEagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environmentExposure to portfolio risk metrics and scenario analysisExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL and Python is a plusJoin SS&C, where innovation meets global opportunities.
