This position applies seasoned judgment and analytical skills to complex, ambiguous, or atypical vehicle data scenarios.As an experienced individual contributor on a small, collaborative team, the role operates with a high degree of independence in a deadline driven environment while working closely with product, technology, and customer stakeholders. The Senior Business Analyst works directly with customers to address product inquiries, participates in pre-sales and customer calls, and supports customer onboarding activities.ResponsibilitiesContribute to standard vehicle research efforts to improve and enhance the completeness of our vehicle databaseServe as a knowledgeable point of contact for internal and customer-facing usersCollaborate with the team on regular product releases, including data review, validation, and release readiness activitiesDevelop and maintain customer-facing documentation and internal product knowledge resourcesEngage with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and inform product enhancementsPerform ad hoc analysis and research tasks in support of product growth initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or related role, with demonstrated progression in responsibilitySolid analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when working with incomplete or inconsistent dataExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently address customer questionsProven ability to work independently with minimal direction while collaborating effectively within a teamProficiency in standard PC and office software, with strong Excel skills requiredFamiliarity with property & casualty insurance, particularly personal auto, is desirableBenefitsVerisk invests in a benefits package for all employees that includes the following: Health Insurance, a Retirement Plan, Disability benefits, and a Paid Time Off program.
