This role helps ensure smooth HR processes while maintaining confidentiality and supporting staff in a fast-paced rehabilitation facility. This role is an entry level HR role with growth potential.Key Responsibilities Onboarding & Employee SupportCoordinate new hire onboarding, including scheduling orientation and collecting required documentsEnsure all pre-employment requirements are completed (background checks, drug screens, licenses)Maintain employee files and ensure documentation is complete and up to dateServe as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures Recruitment SupportPost job openings on job boards and internal systemsScreen resumes and schedule interviewsCoordinate communication between candidates and hiring managersAssist with offer letters and new hire paperwork HR AdministrationMaintain accurate employee records in HR systemsTrack attendance, timekeeping issues, and leave requestsAssist with payroll preparation by ensuring accurate dataMonitor compliance with company policies and proceduresAssist and process bi-weekly payroll (increases, deductions, leave and terminations) Compliance & ReportingEnsure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare regulationsTrack employee certifications, licenses, and expiration datesAssist with audits and inspections as neededMaintain confidentiality of all employee and patient-related information Training & Development SupportCoordinate employee training sessions and orientationsTrack completion of mandatory training (HIPAA, safety, etc.)Assist with maintaining training records General HR SupportSupport employee engagement initiativesAssist with performance review processesProvide administrative support to the HR teamHelp resolve basic employee concerns and escalate when necessaryBenefits Support for New Hires and Annual Open Enrollment, Life EventsQualifications:EducationAssociate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferredExperience1–3 years of HR or administrative experience preferred but not requiredExperience in healthcare or rehabilitation setting is a plusMust have reliable transportationSkills & Competencies:Strong organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle confidential informationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic knowledge of HR practices and employment lawsProficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systemsWorking Conditions:Office environment within a rehabilitation facilityMay require occasional interaction with clinical staff and patientsFast-paced environment with frequent interruptionsThis role is the backbone of daily HR operations.
